For some of the problems in this set you may have to evaluate radical expressions. Your calculator may be able to do this, or you can enter expressions like into WeBWorK as or 10**(1/3). Note the parentheses around the exponent! If the exponent is 1/2 you may use sqrt instead. For example, you can say sqrt(7) for which is the same as sqrt(7).
